ABOUT THE ROLE

As a trusted advisor, you'll drive key client relationships, deliver strategic financial insights, ensure accurate financial reviews, and enhance team expertise—all on a flexible part-time basis.

WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Client Engagement & Strategic Consulting: Manage relationships, address inquiries, and execute financial consulting, including budgeting and forecasting, to drive success.
• Financial Oversight & Review: Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all financial reports by thoroughly reviewing the work completed by accountants.
• Workflow & Onboarding Collaboration: Work with the onboarding team to provide hands-on guidance in defining accounting processes for a smooth client onboarding process.
• Team Mentorship: Collaborate with the team lead to elevate expertise and provide quality oversight through training, without administrative duties.
• Tax Partner Liaison & Process Optimization: Interface with external CPAs to address year-end inquiries and optimize financial reporting. Continuously improve processes such as monthly close and forecasting.
• Technology Implementation: Manage the setup and integration of new systems to enhance financial operations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: Accounting degree required; CPA preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5-10 years of relevant work experience, including public accounting.
• Skills: Advanced knowledge of GAAP financial practices. Experience in creating budgets and cash flow projections.
• Software: Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Passion: Enthusiastic about leveraging technology.
• Interpersonal: Skilled in CEO and owner interactions, adept at managing meticulous client situations.
• Adaptive Problem Solver: Self-motivated and agile in addressing and solving challenges, taking ownership to ensure resolution.
