Candidate Profile - Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-5+ years of accounting and reporting experience

- Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills preferred (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros, etc.)
ACCOUNTABILITIES Fundamental accounting skills required: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliations in order to meet all deadlines and perform duties in a timely and accurate manner. Proactive and critical thinker who can identify opportunities for continuous process improvement. Overtime may be required during critical times. Must be a team player.

- Process all overhead accounting invoices and employee expenses in the accounting system
- Set up weekly payments for all overhead invoices and employee expenses
- Set up new vendors, maintain W-9 file and process annual 1099's
- Prepare daily journal entries and monthly G&A accruals
- Perform monthly G&A analysis to review budget vs actuals
- Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset schedule and post monthly depreciation
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
DIMENSION: - Works and interacts daily with members of the Finance/Accounting team and other members of the organization to accurately record financial information in the accounting ledger.
- Works with three companies: Atlantic Trading & Marketing, Inc. (ATMI), Atlantic Trading & Marketing Financial, Inc. (ATMF), Total Atlantic Trading Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (TATM).
- Business activities include Crude Trading, Products Trading, LPG, Biofuels and Shipping.
Context & Environment - Trading company with dynamic operations requiring daily "must-do" responsibilities.
- Interface with operations and counterparties.
- Multi-task duties and be able to prioritize responsibilities to meet goals and deadlines
