Description
The Concierge role is responsible for providing expert knowledge on tours, ports, and destinations. With a focus on tailored guest experiences, this role involves managing reservations for onboard services, staying informed about activities, and assisting with tour dispatch. Demonstrate superior knowledge of the tour program, ports, and destinations to provide guests with comprehensive information.; Utilize expertise to recommend and tailor guest itineraries based on individual preferences.; Make reservations for on-board outlets, spa, restaurants, and excursions: cultivating a seamless guest experience.; Stay expertly informed about all on-board activities and events to assist guests effectively.; Provide valuable assistance with tour dispatch operations to ensure smooth coordination.; Handle shoreside reservations for beach passes, restaurants, and other services to provide guests with a comprehensive experience ashore.; Own the guest experience: ensuring a warm welcome back from tours and identifying opportunities to surprise and delight.; Create and manage positive relationships with other onboard departments for seamless collaboration.; Collaborate with the Suite Ambassador, sharing insights and creating a cohesive guest experience.; Qualifications
Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position; Possess a minimum of two (2) years of concierge or shore excursion experience; Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for creating clear and informative documentation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The Lady or Gentleman must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.; All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.; All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.;
