Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and certified HMAC Level 1A Hot Mix Production Specialist to oversee and optimize our hot mix asphalt production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hot mix asphalt production, including equipment operation, quality control, and safety protocols. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control hot mix asphalt production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Operate and maintain hot mix asphalt production equipment, including batch plants and drum mixers.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to implement and maintain quality assurance procedures.
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and quality control tests.
• Provide training and support to other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certified HMAC Level 1A Hot Mix Production Specialist.
• Proven experience in hot mix asphalt production, with a strong understanding of related equipment and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in asphalt production.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
