Duties

  • Delivers Information Technology customer support services including system hardware/software installations, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training in response to customer requirements.
  • Communicates factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing.
  • Gathers and analyzes basic facts and draws conclusions. Uses established industry practices, procedures or policies to determine an appropriate approach to problem resolution.
  • Performs highly structured, entry-level work, guided by a specialist, designed to develop broader more in-depth knowledge and skills needed to perform higher-level assignments.
  • Applies information security/information assurance policy, principles and practices. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Work experience, education, and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Information Technology (IT) principles, concepts, and methods as well as skill in applying basic IT principles and practices in:
    • Performing highly structured, entry level work designed to develop a broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher level assignments;
    • Communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing,
    • Gathering and analyzing facts and drawing conclusions,
    • Data storage, software applications and networking.

  • Possess one (1) year Family Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) work experience.
  • Possess knowledge of RecTrac and CYMS systems.
