The role of the Learning & Development Partner is to evaluate, develop, and administer MineStar training and development programs to improve employee effectiveness and productivity. Provide counsel and facilitation services to all employees and develop and deliver learning materials.

MineStar is the mining industry’s most comprehensive and thoroughly integrated suite of technology offerings. Fleet management, guidance technologies, and machine health applications allow significant improvements in operations and maintenance organizations.

What you will do:

- Train customers and dealers worldwide on Cat MineStar technologies.

- Advise training managers and staff on various training activities, programs, and delivery systems for instructional applications.

- Design programs for learning and development initiatives that support business goals.

- Provide consulting services on the design and development of solutions for professional skills gaps, leadership, and organizational development problems and issues.

- Implement programs with efficient use of resources, including working with vendors and technology solutions, to achieve learning goals aligned with business objectives.

- Research information and new material to be used in updating and developing new course presentations, practical tests, and associated assessments.

- Evaluate existing curriculum or learning solutions and recommend appropriate approaches for improving the quality, cost, and value of development programs.

- Support regional training facilities with up-to-date information, equipment, training, and course material.

- Participate in development and validation of training content for New Product Introduction.

Degree Requirement : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience desired.

What Skills you will have:

Training Technologies: Knowledge of training tools and techniques; ability to utilize software, technologies and applications for the creation and development of training programs and processes.

Instructional Design: Knowledge of relevant instructional design concepts and processes; ability to design instructional content to meet the learning needs of a target population.

Training Delivery : Knowledge of methods and tools of training delivery; Ability to deliver learning solutions for desired training outcomes

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Top Candidates will also have:

Knowledge of MineStar technologies.

Product Support Experience.

Knowledge of concepts of electronics, tools, and techniques for identifying and troubleshooting vehicle or mining technology electrical systems.

Additional Information:

The primary location for this position is Tucson, AZ.

Domestic relocation assistance is not available.

This position may require 30 – 40 % travel.
