Basic Job Functions: Responsible for performing the physical unloading, loading, transfer, storage, shipping, physical handling and movement of all materials throughout Accupacs warehouse facilities.
Essential Functions of the Job: - Warehouse Staff level and compensation will be determined by successful completion and verification of levels in the Warehouse Skill Level Chart.
- Load and unload trucks/trailers.
- Prepare materials for proper identification, sampling, and warehouse storage.
- Bar Code ticketing of all materials as per established procedures.
- Verify and sign delivery carriers Bills of Lading.
- Locate and transfer materials between the warehouse, manufacturing, and production areas.
- Verify, count and inventory materials.
- Accurately report material locations through the effective use of the Bar Code Inventory System. Includes efficient use of Intermec PC unit.
- Proper daily maintenance and care of all warehouse materials handling equipment.
- Maintain constant good housekeeping and cleanliness in accordance with all cGMP and FDA regulations. Adhere to all Department and Company SOPs.
- Accurately complete all Receiving Reports, Trailer Inspection Forms, Inter-company Transfer Sheets, Finished Goods Audit Lists, and distribute paperwork accordingly.
- Effectively verify and load outbound trailers (common carrier, contract, air freight).
- Stretch wrap pallets of raw materials, packaging components and finished goods.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Accurately enter receiving reports into Accuterm.
Minimum Requirements of the Job: - Able to operate, in an efficient and safe manner, assigned sit-down or stand-up power forklift and industrial equipment to move and store materials throughout the production plant and warehouses.
- Possess basic math skills sufficient to count and reconcile materials.
- Possess the ability to read and interpret instructional signs and warning placards.
- Possess experience in trailer loading/unloading and truck dock operations.
- Able to follow instructions, get along well with others and work in a team environment.
- Able to be conscientious, hardworking and detail oriented.
- Able to work different shifts, hours, and overtime on short notice.
Physical Requirements: - Able to sustain a minimum of one (1) hour of strenuous activity.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. from the floor to waist level.
- Able to carry a container weighing up to 50-100 lbs. up a flight of stairs.
- Able to move containers physically off of and on to pallets.
- Possess peripheral and color vision.
- Able to work different scheduled hours/shifts/days and overtime to meet the manufacturing schedule.
- Able to stand/walk on cement floors for 10-40% of the workday.
- Able to sit 41-75% of workday.
- Able to bend/stoop 41-75% of workday.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Travel : None
Education and/or Experience : Must have a high school diploma or GED. Prefer previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Prefer previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up power forklifts.
