Memco is HIRING!! We are looking for Experienced Roofers/Metal Roofers - St.Mary's, Ga

• Schedule: Mon - Fri, sometimes Saturday. 7am - 5pm
• Pay: $20 - $25
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND & WORK ON A FEDERAL JOB SITE
• MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROPER IDENTIFICAITON
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A 5 PANEL DRUG TEST

Job Summary: We are looking for an Experienced Roofer who is adept at installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install and repair roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, metal, and flat roofs. Ensure all installations meet industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of roofs to identify issues such as leaks, damage, and wear. Provide accurate assessments and recommendations for repairs or replacements.
• Repair: Diagnose and repair roofing issues, including leaks, damaged shingles, and structural problems. Use appropriate materials and techniques to ensure long-lasting repairs.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to extend the life of roofing systems, including cleaning gutters, checking for damage, and applying protective coatings.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain roofing issues, provide recommendations, and address any questions or concerns. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including apprentices and supervisors, to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience as a roofer or in a similar role. Proven track record of successful roofing installations and repairs.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety procedures. Proficiency in using roofing tools and equipment.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Certification: Relevant certifications or licenses as required by state or local regulations.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specialized roofing systems (e.g., green roofs, solar panel integration).
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to roofing.
