Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Perioperative Circulator

Location: Moab , Utah

Schedule: Full-time, rotating on-call responsibilities including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: $31 - $44.88 per hour, DOE

Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 with a 2-year service agreement

Job Description:

The Perioperative Circulator RN plays a vital role in the care of patients before, during, and after surgical operations and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about patient safety. Due to the rural location, this position requires a comprehensive range of nursing skills and adaptability. You will need to respond quickly and accurately in diverse situations, making this a great opportunity to expand your nursing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative care to patients before, during, and after surgeries and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Act as the Circulator during surgical operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist with C-sections, pre-op, and PACU as needed.
• Be available to take 7-9 on-call days per month with a 20-minute response time to the hospital.
• Maintain accurate communication with the surgical team and patients families.
• Handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Must have experience as a Circulator and knowledge of surgical procedures.
• C-Section experience is required.
• Experience in pre-op and/or PACU preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Utah or compact state required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong emotional and physical stamina to handle stressful situations.
