Sandblaster Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:30pm)

RESUME IS NEEDED to demonstrate over 2 years of consistent experience in sand blasting and references.

• Operate sandblast machine to remove paint, rust, corrosion, etc. from various forms of metal, to prepare them for painting.
• Responsible for shoveling or pouring sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine.
• Hook up and disconnect air compressors and sandblast equipment.
• Monitor and maintaining an adequate supply of the abrasive in the hopper.
• Regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through the nozzle.
• Keep sandblast area organized. 
• Communicate with team members when jobs are complete and ready for the next step.
• Proficiency in hooking up and disconnecting air compressors and sandblast equipment.

Sandblaster Qualifications:

• Highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
• Ability to work in an industrial setting (non-climate controlled).
• Physical fitness for duties involving walking, climbing, standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and heavy lifting.
• Ability to read and write, stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 75lb - 100lbs
• Reliable transportation.
