Pay Range: $17-$18 per hour Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stockroom Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with purchasing and inventory control, and ensuring the stockroom remains clean and orderly. This role is essential for supporting both internal and external customers by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders for internal and external customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
• Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with purchasing and inventory control to reorder low stock.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, noting discrepancies and damages, and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom layout for efficient storage and retrieval of items, always ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes or merchandise as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with coworkers and superiors.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to [specific weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs.].
• Ability to stand, walk, and move within the stockroom for extended periods.

Work Environment:

• The work is performed in a stockroom/warehouse environment.
• The role may require occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
