Exclusively Cats Veterinary Hospital is a cat-only practice, set in a peaceful garden setting, located in Medford, NJ. We believe in progressive feline medicine and place high value in customer service! Our clients tend to be top notch and we are highly devoted to their cats! Our environment and culture allow us to provide a relaxed and positive experience for our kitties and their parents while delivering innovative medical/behavioral care and excellent client service.\

Our current position requires working in reception and helping our skilled technicians during office calls and outpatient treatments. Exclusively Cats Veterinary Hospital is a small, one doctor practice where everyone is cross-trained to fill most positions. Therefore, excellent people AND cat skills are a must.\

Cat Parent education is an extremely important part of what we do. The entire staff is trained in basic feline health care and preventative health maintenance through discussions with our doctor, reading materials, and regional continuing education. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in a highly specialized field with a great team!\

Job duties include, but are not limited to: Feline restraint of all temperaments, assist in therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, collect and process laboratory specimens, advise and educate clients, data entry, scheduling appointments, preparation of medical charts, obtaining detailed medical history, invoicing, balancing a cash drawer, and answering a multi-line phone system.\
\
The perfect candidate would be someone that is kind, self-motivated, willing to work independently, and have the ability to multi-task effectively. A strong desire to learn about cats and their unique medical/behavioral problems is also a must. The applicant should have strong customer service experience and enjoy interacting with people and their cats. Experience in a veterinary practice, animal shelter/rescue, and/or completion of a veterinary technician/assistant program preferred.\
\
Shifts include Monday, Tuesday, and Friday day shifts, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and alternate Saturdays. Off hour patient care duty may also be required on a rotational basis.\
\
