Job Description

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in supporting K-12 students within a Washington School District. This is a full-time and part-time remote position for the upcoming school year.

Position Overview:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing assessments, treatment sessions, and active participation in meetings using our teletherapy platform. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students through effective communication support.

Qualifications:

ASHA-CCCs
Washington State SLP License
Washington Teaching Certification
Education and Experience:

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Minimum of two years of school-based experience (exceptions may apply)
Responsibilities:

Engage students in goal planning, progress monitoring, and self-advocacy.
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing difficulties.
Collaborate with parents or guardians in program implementation and decision-making.
Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders.
Provide instruction and intervention tailored to assessment results.
Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student evaluations.
Maintain open communication with school administration and general education teachers to facilitate student progress in the classroom.
