Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, inventory control, and order fulfillment. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our distribution centers, including month end tasks, shipping, receiving, preparing inventory for daily jobs and stock modifications. This role will report to the Regional Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations and improve overall efficiency
• Pick stock and prepare orders for jobs and shipping according to established procedures
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and month end audits
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery
• Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory movements and monitor performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Requirements:

• General warehousing procedures including shipping, receiving and issuing materials optimum space utilization and stock inventory procedures.
• Proper operation of all warehouse equipment, including forklift, miter saw, and basic hand tools
• Thorough understanding of window blind sizes, modification types, light-carpentry terms and practices, including types of cuts and incremental measurements
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Google Sheets, Outlook
• Thorough understanding of inventory methods and practices
• Two years of experience in a warehouse facility or similar, and a high school diploma or a G.E.D Certificate.

Physical Demands:

• Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds
• Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust and fumes
